Astrophotography Tutorials --> You can see the Space Station with your naked eye. The Space station MOVES very fast across the sky and I don't think you can track the Space Station with the 70mm Travel Scope's mount. The mount is the weakest part of this setup. So my answer would be NO, you cannot see the space station because it travels too fast...but if you had a this scope on a mount that had better tracking, I'm sure you could see it since it's visible with your eye.
Amani S --> can i capture a picture from this Scope ?
Marktuyet --> put it on a magnum vt 200 or 300 tripod . I use the 300 . these are great to take to a lake and do some bird watching and fun for the night sky . just keep in mind it's a 60.00 scope ...very good value and I take mine with me when I travel ...if traveling try the vt200
Kombiice --> Good!
DooberDan --> Can you use the celestron moon filter with it?
Astrophotography Tutorials --> cont.. I'm creating a Planetary Imaging & Processing series right now. You should check it out. You may like taking photos more than "visual" observations. The only problem with the Travel Scope 70 is the mount, the scope should be able to give you more details of the planets with a webcam or astro cam. Also, if you know someone that has other eyepieces, try another eyepiece. The eyepieces in the kit aren't the best and a good eyepiece makes a big difference for visual.
Anmol Marwaha --> 10mm eye piece gives me 40X magnification but really not a big difference between 20mm and 10mm - when i observe stars with 20mm i can see small dots but i m not sure that this dot is an planet or what ! - with 10mm same small dots not sure if it is a planet or what !!! - yes i know current position of saturn - but in that direction there are so many twinkle stars that i can't find saturn with this telescope!! and if i zoom then everything go blurred.i will rate this product - 7/10
HammerHead2D Jenk --> CAN SOMEONE PLS TELL ME?! would I be able to see Saturn and Jupiter in great detail ? In other words can i see the first 6 plants in enough detail to see moons , its surface and if not what can I get exactly to increase the sights ? A barrow lens? If so which one and how strong 2x??
Spider Rick --> Great video Doug! I would be curious to see what type of image you could produce with this scope.
Chris Osborne --> can you see jupiter and saturn and its rings with this telescope?
